Trash Panda was built to streamline the experience of responsible waste disposal.

Users take a photo of their waste or search for a match. Depending on the item, they may be asked some simple follow-up questions to help improve the disposal suggestion. Finally, they are presented with a clear recommendation along with local alternatives for waste-diversion when available.

The system was design to be customized for each municipality with a comprehensive management system. This system included a unique diagramming tool for defining the rules for a given municipality.
